The port of San-Pédro is the second largest port in the country, right after the port of Abidjan. San-Pédro’s ideal geographical position combined with its dynamic industrial development has been the prime reason for a considerable part of Côte d’Ivoire’s industrial activity. The region also acts as the key gateway to Côte d’Ivoire’s export items, with plans for heavy investment in the transportation system.
San-Pédro, located in the south-western part of Côte d’Ivoire, is the sixth largest city in terms of population and second largest contributor to Ivorian GDP.
